Renovations to what was an old print shop include a custom-made wooden bar. Justin Straube’s college plan for his own restaurant has gone from paper to reality with the opening of Seasonal Grille in his hometown.
Located in the former Hastings Press building at the corner of Church and State streets, the 100-plus-year-old building is being restored into what its owners hope will be a downtown showpiece.
Inside, Straube has turned the former Press facility into a warm, inviting restaurant with a menu of Italian dishes, fresh salads, soups, seasonal items, vegetarian dishes, Gluten Free, and a full compliment of wines and alcohol.

This Italian American themed restaurant focuses on fresh ingredients. Pricing is very competitive with many franchise restaurants, and we pride ourselves on making nearly everything from scratch. At The Grille we offer Wine Dinners: A five course menu with five different food tastings paired with five different wines from our wine guru Thom Dukesherer, Vintage Wines. We also offer many catering services. We host offsite events, in house receptions, and even do business meetings. We partner with The Hastings Country Club as well for any large event you may have, up to 200 people. No event is too big or too small!
